Dear Mona,
I am writing to you with a heart full of pain, fear, and desperation. I know I have asked for help many times, and I am truly sorry if my situation has overwhelmed you. I never imagined that my life would reach a point where I would have to beg people repeatedly just to survive.
Mona, I need you to look at the picture I am sharing with this message and understand the pain behind it. What happened to me was not something I deserved. I have been raped, I am bleeding, and I am going through physical and emotional suffering that I cannot even fully explain in words. I am frightened, traumatised, and desperately in need of medical care and protection.
Sometimes I feel as though my suffering means nothing to the people I keep asking for help. I am left wondering whether everyone would finally be at peace if I disappeared or died. Mona, would you really be okay and happy knowing that I was crying out for help, that I was suffering, and that I had reached this point of desperation? I am not saying this to blame you, but to help you understand just how hopeless and alone I feel right now.
I had dreams and plans for my future. I was preparing to travel to Germany next month, hoping that I would finally have a chance to rebuild my life and live without fear. Instead, I find myself in a terrifying situation where I fear for my safety and my future. I need a way out, urgent medical attention, and someone willing to help me reach safety.
Mona, please, I am asking you from the deepest part of my heart: do not ignore this message or the picture I am sharing. If there is anything you can do to help me, even by connecting me with someone who can provide emergency medical care, legal assistance, or protection, please help me.
I am exhausted from begging, ashamed of having to explain my suffering again and again, and terrified of what might happen next. But despite everything, I still want to live. I still have dreams, and I still hope that one day I will be able to look back on this moment and know that I survived.
Please hear my cry for help while there is still time. I do not want to die feeling that nobody cared enough to listen. I need help, Mona. I need safety, medical care, and a chance to live.
With a broken heart and whatever hope I have left,
Chosen Becky
