Allie and I (and many others) have been helping to care for my niece Eliana during the past two years as my brother Kyle and his wife Chioma have been fighting an intense battle with breast cancer. 

With the constant demands of this battle, Kyle and Chioma are unable to care for Eliana’s daily needs without help. Allie and I currently care for Eliana one day a week. Beginning in May, we were able to help hire a nanny for Eliana the other 4 days of the work week through the Lord’s provision of funds from family and friends. Newly 3-year-old Eliana has thrived being able to be around her parents more and Kyle and Chioma have expressed it to be a huge blessing to be able to spend more time with their daughter during these difficult days. 

We are praying that the Lord would continue to provide funds to be able to retain the nanny through the end of the year as a goal (though childcare need is a ongoing one while Eliana is still young before the upcoming school years).
