I am setting this up for Shane Lilly to use as needed. I know many people want to support Shane, but cannot support through the other platform.
Shane's dog was taken from him nearly two years ago, kept in solitary for nearly 600 days. Major, the Belgian Malinois, was hit by a car. Shane, homeless at the time, tied the injured dog to a post while he went to get his phone from his tent. A well-meaning bystander approached injured Major, and was bitten.
Austin regulation required the dog be euthanized.
Shane fought the decision at every step, Finally, a federal judge saved Major.
Shane will need liability insurance, among other monetary need.
ALL FUNDS WILL GO TO SHANE FOR HIS USE AT HIS DISCRETION.
Please support Shane so this story has a true happy ending.
IMPORTANT: By court order, Shane will be required to maintain liability insurance on Major. I don't know how much that will cost, but it won't be cheap.
