OCTOBER 2026
We have a very important update to share with everyone who has been praying for us and supporting our family.
Our little family has unexpectedly grown by three. ❤️
We are now caring for three young children we lovingly call the M’s — ages 6, 5, and 4. Because they are minors and there are circumstances surrounding their placement that must remain private, we won’t be sharing details about how they came into our care. What we can share is that right now, they are safe, loved, and surrounded by people who are committed to giving them the stability, consistency, and security they need.
This transition happened very quickly, and overnight our home went from being prepared for two adults to needing to accommodate three little ones. We are working closely with the appropriate agencies and doing everything asked of us, including making changes to our home so each child has the space and environment they need.
That means beds, bedroom furniture, clothing, school needs, household necessities, and all of the everyday things that come with suddenly adding three growing children to a household. We are taking it one day at a time and trusting God to provide as each need arises.
Through everything our family was already navigating, we certainly didn't expect this chapter. But when three little people needed us, there was never a question of whether we would open our home and our hearts to them.
We are incredibly grateful for every prayer, donation, message, and act of kindness that has already been shown to our family. If you feel led to help, your support will now also help us create a safe, comfortable, and stable home for the M’s while they are in our care.
Most of all, please pray for Myles, Mason, and Meadow. Pray for peace in their little hearts, for restful nights, for stability and healing, and for wisdom for every adult making decisions on their behalf. Please also pray that God gives Brian and me the strength, patience, wisdom, and resources to be exactly what these children need from us right now.
We don't know exactly what the months ahead will look like, but we know Who does.
Thank you for loving our suddenly bigger family. 💛

MAY 2026
I kept hoping for a different outcome… a different diagnosis… a version of this story where I got better and went back to the life I built over 30 years. But that’s not the path I’m on.
This has taken so much from me—my ability to work, my independence, my sense of certainty about the future. Some days I’m strong. Some days I’m just getting through the hour.
What hasn’t changed is who I am. I’m still fighting, still adapting, still trying to find moments of normal in something that feels anything but normal.
Asking for help has never been easy for me. But right now, it’s necessary.
If you’ve supported me already—thank you. Truly.
If you can’t donate, sharing this means more than you know.
I don’t know exactly what the road ahead looks like, but I do know I’m not giving up.
And I’m incredibly grateful I don’t have to face it alone.
MARCH 2026 UPDATE:
We’re still praying for progress but the days are the same. God is with me every day. I need more therapy but the copays are expensive AND the cost to have insurance has jumped up this year. Grateful for your prayers, compassion and help.
UPDATE:
I wanted to share a brief update and thank you for all the prayers and support. I recently experienced a minor stroke on February 5th and am focusing on rest and recovery. This has caused even more medical expenses and we can use your help. I’m incredibly grateful for the care I’ve received and for each of you walking alongside us during this time.

My life has changed in ways I never imagined, and I’m reaching out with humility and hope for support during a very difficult medical journey.
