A little back story…Ever since Chris and Kelsey were blessed with their youngest daughter Annie, Kelsey had Complications during her entire pregnancy with Annie. There was a blood clot that was located in her head which was the beginning of this health journey for Kelsey. She was in and out of the hospital up to Annie’s arrival.. since Annie was born 18 months ago, kelsey has since then had more health concerns that have unfortunately risen to the surface resulting in continuous visits to the ER leaving substantial medical bills.
Kelsey is a stay at home, mom of 4. She homeschools the two oldest. Her Husband Christopher is the sole-provider for this family Working long hours across multiple state lines, often times when the medical issues arise he is unable to be there.
Then came the diagnosis of stage 3c1 cervical cancer. Chris has exhausted all of his time off from work between the hospital visits, in support for his wife and family.. leaving this family stressing how to make ends meet. Then a few days after getting this news the transmission in their van went out leaving them now down to one vehicle for Christopher to get to work and Kelsey to get to appointments.
Kelsey’s oncology team has agreed to give her 3 months to try to handle things holistically, as chemo and radiation would be too rough on her already sensitive system.. She's currently working with a integrative doctor, but of course insurance doesn't cover anything natural.
Some of the medications she's on currently leave her feeling so sick some days she struggles to make meals for her family.
I will also be posting a Meal Train for the the people in her surrounding area, I know how difficult it is when a loved one has physical needs and is difficult to do so because of the distance. If you feel lead to donate there as well to cover meals for the family please consider doing so.
We trust and believe that our Heavenly father will provide all of their needs and heal Kelseys body completely.
In the mean time, let's do what we can and rally around this beautiful family and help support them during this difficult time. If you feel lead to give please do so!
