The Need:
Justice Secured and Joy Restored for Jay
We are friends of Jay, a devoted mother and the primary residential parent to her precious eight-year-old daughter. After courageously leaving an abusive marriage in 2021, Jay placed her trust in God and committed herself to building a life rooted in safety, stability, and love for her child. Through every step, her daughter’s well-being has remained her greatest calling.
In the years since, Jay has been required to respond to repeated legal actions surrounding routine co-parenting matters, despite there being no findings of wrongdoing against her. Most recently, she was once again compelled to defend herself against claims that were unfounded. While truth prevailed, the cost of standing firm has been heavy.
Scripture reminds us that “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble” (Psalm 9:9). Even when accusations fall away, proper legal defense requires experienced counsel. Jay has incurred significant and ongoing legal expenses simply to protect the home, peace, and stability God has entrusted to her and her daughter.
As her friends, we have witnessed Jay walk this road with humility, prayer, and unwavering faith. She has not sought recognition or sympathy, choosing instead to quietly carry the burden while trusting the Lord for provision. We believe this is a moment for the Body of Christ to come alongside her and help bear what she should not have to carry alone. This is why we are inviting you to be a part of Jay's story, a part of the solution, a part of the blessing.
This fundraiser was created to help cover attorney’s fees and court-related costs connected to Jay’s legal defense. Every gift is a tangible act of love and obedience, an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a mother and child who are standing firm in faith.
If you feel led to give, to share this page, or to pray for Jay and her daughter, we are deeply grateful. “And let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).
Thank you for standing with this family as God continues to write their story of healing, protection, and hope.
