Our family has come to the difficult realization that we cannot do this alone.
Jesus has been battling a rare cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma for more than 10 months. After months of treatment here in the Valley, we were blessed with remission. But only four months later, the cancer has returned, and this time it is growing rapidly.
We have exhausted the treatment options available to us here in the Valley, and we desperately need to get Jesus to MD Anderson, where there is a specialized team that treats this rare cancer and may have additional options, including clinical trials, surgery, stem cell transplant, and other treatments.
The biggest obstacle right now is financial. MD Anderson does not accept Jesus's current insurance for the care he needs, so we have been told he must be seen as a private-pay patient. The estimated cost for his consultation and evaluation is $28,000.
We have tried every avenue we can think of. Your support would mean so much to our family as we fight for Jesus's life.
