Hi, my name is Shelby. As the eldest of my siblings, I felt it was important to create this fund on behalf of our incredibly resilient mom, Jackie.

For nearly a year, our mom had been unwell without any clear explanation, enduring multiple hospital visits without answers. After five long months of continued testing, medication changes, and multiple treatment attempts, our family finally received the clarity we had been searching for.

On October 14, 2025, Jackie was diagnosed with stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Shortly after, on November 3, 2025, she began chemo and immunosuppressant therapy. Through every step she continues to face this battle with strength even on her hardest days.

While we remain hopeful about her healing, the emotional and financial strain has been significant. Medical expenses, ongoing treatments, transportation to appointments, and time away from work have added pressure during an already exhausting and uncertain season.

No family is ever truly prepared to watch a loved one face a serious health battle. We are deeply grateful for the compassion and support our community has already shown. While nothing is expected, every act of kindness has meant more to us than we can express.

The funds raised will help cover medical expenses, transportation to appointments, and essential living costs. This support allows our mom to focus on healing and recovery without the constant worry of managing everything else.
