In July, our lives changed forever when Hunter Picard was diagnosed with Metastatic Ewing sarcoma. He is currently fighting bravely through chemotherapy treatments every two weeks.
This October, Hunter faces a massive milestone: a major reconstructive surgery to replace the bone in his arm using a bone from his leg. His battle won't end there, as he will still require further chemotherapy and radiation after surgery.
While we are doing absolutely everything we can to fight this battle, we know we cannot do it alone.
We are thankful for the incredible support we have already received from our community, and are profoundly grateful for the love and prayers showered upon us during this difficult time.
The physical, emotional, and financial toll of this journey is immense. As Hunter continues this long road to recovery, we are reaching out to our village to help ease the burden. Your generous donations will directly help cover mounting medical bills, travel for treatments, and everyday expenses while Hunter heals.
Please continue to stand with Hunter in this fight.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Update: October 13, 2026
Hunter is home from surgery. He spent 4 days in the ICU and 2 days on the medical floor. We are thankful to be home. His right leg is currently in an immobilizer and left arm in a sling. He requires a wheelchair to get around the house. He will resume chemotherapy in a couple weeks.
