Regaining My Independence- Help Me Build a Ramp

Update: I am not having much luck getting funds for a permanent ramp. Lowes has a 20 ft ramp for $2500. Ed is going to use his skills to attach it to the porch. 2 months stuck in house SUCKS. If you can help me leave my captivity please donate a few bucks. Thanks again.

Living with Multiple Sclerosis means adapting to sudden changes, and following a recent relapse, my front steps have become an insurmountable barrier. While I can still walk using my walker and love nothing more than being outside playing with my dog, getting in and out of my own home safely has become dangerous without help.

I’ve exhausted every potential assistance program here in Wisconsin, but none currently have funding available. I’ve gathered estimates from three local contractors, and all of them fall outside what I can afford on my own.

A residential ramp is the single piece I need to regain my safety and independence. Any contribution—or simply sharing this post—helps me take another step forward. Thank you so much for standing with me.
