Asking for help isn't easy. But for nearly a year, my husband has been unable to work due to Myasthenia Gravis. In June, he was hospitalized for ten days for plasmapheresis. He now has cataracts in both eyes and has lost vision in one. He has no insurance. We rely on county assistance, and disability is still pending. Meanwhile, I've been the sole provider for our family of four. I've exhausted my credit cards. They're maxed out and in collections. I've had to defer bills, including electricity, just to keep the lights on. Between rent, car payments, insurance, groceries, and medications, I'm constantly choosing what gets paid. Too much has been neglected, like clothing, repairs, and even some of our child's needs. Our youngest son recently turned 12. I wanted to make it special, but I'm struggling with basics. He notices more than I wish he did. I'm still working and still fighting for my family, but we've reached a point where we need help. We're trying to raise twenty thousand dollars to stay current on housing, manage utilities, transportation, groceries, and medications, and catch up on basics we've had to put off. Any amount helps. If you can't give, sharing or praying for us means so much. Thank you for your kindness and support.
