My friend, Jennifer, who just turned 79 on April 10,^th had her life drastically change when she lost her job in November of 2023 and has been struggling to find work ever since despite countless interviews. She has recently become homebound due to health reasons and had to sell her car to make ends meet after her unemployment benefits and mortgage forebearance expired. Jennifer suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, neuropathy, and chronic kidney disease. She is in constant pain because she is unable to take arthritis medications after kidney and heart failure in 2016.

I ask for prayers that she find a remote part-time work position that will generate an income of $400-$500/month because social security is not sufficient to meet her bills. Until that time, Jennifer needs help to pay for food, medically necessary supplements, medical prescriptions and co-pays, and transportation to doctor appointments. Jennifer has been reaching out to local churches in her city of Charlotte NC, but her CKD dietary needs are very restrictive and don't match what is available in most food pantries.

 I have known Jennifer for 14 years and know her to have a loving heart. She deserves to be supported during this difficult time.
