Gods vision is for family style, safe group homes for pregnant Mommas, especially near abortion facilities to walk women away from. This amount seems large, but it will pay off our first of many homes. Mommas can stay 2 hours or up to 2 years. We live as a family, with a manager/mentor onsite 24/7. We teach full life skills: cleaning, cooking/nutrition, budgeting, communication, parenting, etc. THIS is generational transformation! They can stay long enough to be stable and ready to be on their own. We have volunteer nurses, doulas, gardeners, financial planners, etc come in and teach, and also hobbies, sewing, painting, cause a girls still gotta have fun! When you live in survival mode, you don't think about what you like to do. We have devotionals and bible studies as Jesus is the only way to real life. We want every Momma and child to feel safe, loved and wanted. Our Founders back story: she started doing drugs at 13. At 17, God gave her a vision of family type group homes as there weren't any. Being a young woman on the street, you can't imagine what she lived through. She got clean at 30, became a single Mom of 2 at 37 and got saved at 40. At 41, she started her first nonprofit housing women and kids. We believe our call is to be national, if not international. First and foremost, we need prayer, and then funds for monthly bills (mortgage, utilities, insurance, etc) for this and future homes and staff.
