Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page. If you know me, you know it is incredibly difficult for me to ask for financial help, but life has thrown a few unexpected hurdles my way, and I am reaching out for support.
As many of you know, I have been dealing with severe hip issues and was originally scheduled for surgery back in June. I was ready to finally get my mobility back, but life had other plans.
Right before the procedure, my blood work came back abnormal. What followed was a stressful, months-long roller coaster of endless doctor visits, specialized testing, and intensive iron infusion therapies just to make it safe for me to undergo surgery.
The wonderful news is that after months of fighting to get healthy, I have officially been medically cleared! My hip surgery is now locked in for October 28th.
While I am incredibly relieved and grateful to finally cross this finish line, the delay has created a perfect financial storm. The medical bills from the summer's extra testing and therapies have piled up. More challenging still, the nature of this surgery means I will be facing a complete loss of income for the next 3 months while I focus entirely on healing and physical therapy.
During these next 3 months, regular living expenses, mortgage, utilities, and ongoing medical costs will continue to roll in while my income completely stops.
We are starting this fundraiser to help bridge that 3-month gap so I can focus on my rehabilitation without the overwhelming stress of losing everything financially. Every single dollar raised will go directly toward keeping a roof over our heads, food on the table, and paying down the medical bills accrued during this long journey.
If you are able to contribute financially, please know that no amount is too small, and every dollar is a massive relief. If you are not in a position to donate, you can help me immensely just by sharing this link with your friends, family, or community groups, and keeping me in your thoughts and prayers on October 28th.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. I can’t wait to get on the other side of this recovery and back on my feet!
With love and gratitude,
The Phipps Family
