After 20 years in my previous role, my position was eliminated in August 2024. It took a year of applications and rejections, but I finally found a job I love in hospice nursing. The trade-off is a significant pay cut that's made it hard to keep up with my medical bills.
Even with insurance, my monthly reflux medication costs $300 and isn't covered. I've already cut back where I can, I've lost 20 lbs trying to offset expenses, controlling BP, cholesterol but between my two meds and new diagnosis with sleep apnea and need a CPAP machine. The cost is $675, which I'm not able to afford right now.
I know this is a tough ask, and I'm not going to pretend the last few months have been easy with the pay cut it’s really difficult to keep up with everything. I'm asking for your help to cover these medical costs so I can focus on the work I love without the constant worry. Your support would mean so much to me, and I'm truly grateful.
