Our friend Vince is fighting for his life, and time is running out.
Vince is an incredibly kind and loyal person who stood by our family when very few others were around to help. He always looks out for his friends and others in need, and now he desperately needs people to show up for him.
In May of this year, he was diagnosed with throat cancer. Since then, everything has quickly unraveled. He poured his life savings into building his art studio and printing business for over ten years. During treatment, he lost it all. He can no longer swallow and now depends on a feeding tube. He’s lost his teeth, lost his voice, and lost 70 pounds. Some days it takes everything he has just to make it through.
He became homeless while he was still in the middle of fighting for his life. Right now he is living temporarily in a residence for cancer patients at the hospital, and he has to clear out the art studio by the end of next week. He is too weak and too sick to do any of it alone, and he has nothing left to pay for the help he needs. What’s left of his world is still in that studio—his artwork, sentimental items, computers and files, clothes, personal belongings, and a car he hopes to bring home.
His final treatment is on November 17, 2026. After that, he needs to get back to the East Coast so he can be with his family and begin to heal. The funds raised will help ship his car packed with belongings, send additional boxes, hire movers and a cleaning crew, cover trash hauling, and pay for a plane ticket home once his doctors clear him to fly.
He has already lost his health, his home, his savings, and his entire business. Please help him hold on to what little remains and get home safely to the people who love him.
