Help Us Through Recovery and Medical Leave

At the end of August, both my husband Mike and I faced medical emergencies that have left us unable to work while we heal.

Mike had a seizure at work and was rushed to surgery for brain bleeding. He's now recovering at home with his mom and brother caring for him as he heals.

The same day, I broke my right foot running to him and had to have surgery myself. I'm recovering at a friend's place until I can get a walking boot and regain mobility.

Neither of us is working right now. I'm focused on my recovery, and we're working to get Mike approved for SSDI. In the meantime, we're facing a real gap: we need help covering our rent and bills for the next month or two while we're both out of work and healing.
