Earlier this year, my kids and I fled a domestic violence situation. We're finally starting to recover, and this new home has given them the safety to heal.
I'm working full time, but I'm struggling to make ends meet. I don't qualify for state assistance because of my base salary, but that doesn't account for what I'm still paying out, my abuser's medical insurance and debt relief payments from his financial abuse.
Then everything hit at once. We had multiple vehicle emergency repairs and several costly health problems right after we moved. Now I'm facing eviction, and I'm doing everything I can to keep our home.
