Ms. Mills was playing volleyball when her achilles tendon decided it needed a break, well a tear to be more precise. She is in her 4th year as an adjunct teacher and will be certified soon. This means she is not salaried, so everyday she misses means she does not get paid. Plus, she is not covered by the district's insurance. Surgery and missed days from work are going to take a longer term toll on a kind hearted and caring woman who only wants to get better so she can teach. The recovery process is estimated to last until May of 2027. If you can help her, you will also be helping all of the wonderful children she teaches as well.
