We are raising funds to bring together traditional ancestral families from various locations across different regions of La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia to one very sacred site for an extremely important Earth prayer on November 10th, 2026. The funds will cover travel, food, lodging, and logistics for these traditional ancestral Elders in Colombia. There are many ways one can support this initiative. One way is to join with this Prayer for the Whole Earth.
This is the first phase of an ongoing mission throughout La Sierra to help restore certain sacred sites that are vital for the Earth and the entire world according to the origin of these traditional ancestral peoples. We want to help them raise the resources to buy important land sites that are currently in private ownership. There are peaceful agreements in place with the current landowners to sell the lands back.
A Prayer for the Whole Earth
Across cultures and generations people have gathered in prayer during times of uncertainty. Some prayers are carried for one person, one family, or one place. Other prayers are carried with the intention of restoring balance for the whole Earth which embraces humanity.
In Colombia, a mountain massif referred to as "The Spiritual Heart of the Earth" is home to sacred Elders who are spiritual leaders of four indigenous tribes that represent the "Four Chambers of that Heart". These Elders and their families continue fulfilling the sacred responsibilities they have held since time immemorial –offering prayers to sacred places upon the Earth, caring for the Waters, for the Lands, for Nature, for Humanity and the interconnected web of Life.
Whether we understand this work through a spiritual, ecological, or cultural lens, its underlying wisdom is universal: the health of humanity is interdependent upon the health of the living Earth.
Much of this work is intentionally quiet, fulfilled with great humility and wisdom. There are sacred aspects that must be free of documentation, of being viewed or even shared. Yet this necessary privacy creates a profound challenge: when the world does not know this sacred work is taking place, the people carrying this large task are unseen and thereby can remain unsupported.
The Elders:
“Sometimes, we believe that it is the large and grand beings in Nature or on the planet that are the ones that hold the greatest capacity to maintain life; but it turns out that the ones that are quiet, the beings that are unseen, seemingly small and even imperceptible are playing the greatest roles where life is actually being sustained in a very grandiose way. Oftentimes, it is those that do not exhibit themselves where the most sacredness is preserved.”
Industrial development, changes in land use, and limited access have made it increasingly difficult for these Elders to travel to and care for their sacred places. Certain places where their families have prayed for generations are no longer under their stewardship. The Elders and communities are presently working to restore and protect these lands to serve as places of prayer, ceremony, and ecological care once again while transmitting the wisdom to the future generations.
The Elders are also expressing a growing sense of urgency to fulfill the responsibilities they were given from the holy Creator at the very origin - to care for those sacred places as a way to care for the Earth and all of Nature.
The Elders invitation, the Creator's invitation and the Earth’s invitation is a call to humanity, embracing all races, religions, cultures, nations, countries. A call that can only be answered through the portal of our hearts, from a true spirit of unity, through sincere volition to serve with integrity and herein lies the opportunity we are being given to care for all of Nature of which sustains us alive.
Free of organized public ceremonies that are performed in front of an audience, and free for the need to be acknowledged, credited or seen; this is a pure grass roots request for sincere collaboration that asks us to answer through an internal feeling that embodies the spirit of trust.
This opportunity is not only to help fund this most sacred and important work for the Earth but to also participate in a global reflection that is given to humanity: to examine ourselves, to purify our own hearts, thoughts, words, actions and to remember our relationship with the Earth in common unity, to care for all Life.

What is Being Asked of Us?
1. Join the Prayer Wherever You Are.
This does not require traveling to Colombia or practicing a tradition that is not your own. It begins by tending to our own hearts, our own cultures, religions, thoughts, words, actions, choices, homes, and communities, states, nations, countries. The Elders remind us that inner transformation and planetary wellbeing are one and the same. We heal Nature by healing ourselves. As a collective our impact can be profound from wherever we are.
2. Help bring the Elders together from various Ancestral Villages.
An important gathering is being organized so Elders from the Four Chambers of the Heart can unite in prayer with the younger generations who will continue this responsibility that they have been given from the origin. Travel between their territories is difficult and costly. Resources are needed to bring them together and support the gathering with dignity and care.
3. Help Restore the Sacred Lands to their Stewardship.
Supporting the return and protection of these ancestral lands and sacred sites, enables the Elders to access the “memories of creation” that instruct them how to fulfill their sacred responsibilities given to them at the origin—to preserve balance on Earth. Herein lies the gift to humanity from the Heart of the Earth. This is beyond acquiring property, it is an opportunity to help restore a sacred relationship between humanity and the living world—and to stand behind the people who have continued tending that relationship through generations.
