Losing your mother is heartbreaking. Facing that loss while also wondering where you will call home makes an already painful time even harder.
Jahvi, Ja’Naz, Ja’Von, and Ja’Dyn are facing both. After their mother entered hospice, the family also lost their home. Now, following her passing, these four siblings are grieving while trying to arrange a meaningful goodbye for their mom and find a safe, stable place to live.
We are coming together to help ease those burdens and give them the support they need to grieve, care for one another, and begin finding their way forward.
All three brothers—Ja’Naz, Ja’Von, and Ja’Dyn—are graduates of St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale. The St. Joe’s brotherhood is woven into this family’s story, and their community now includes the Stonehill College football family, where Ja’Dyn plays football. Alongside friends, neighbors, and everyone moved to help, these communities can surround all four siblings with the care and support they need. The bonds built in classrooms, on the field, and in the stands can mean even more in moments like this.
Funds raised will help:
- Honor their mother’s life with a dignified funeral or memorial service.
- Secure safe, stable housing so they have a place to call home.
- Cover everyday necessities, including food, clothing, and transportation.
- Provide ongoing support as they move forward, including helping Ja’Dyn meet his basic living needs through the remainder of college.
More than anything, we want Jahvi, Ja’Naz, Ja’Von, and Ja’Dyn to have room to grieve their mother without the constant pressure of figuring out how to afford a service, secure housing, and meet their everyday needs. Each deserves comfort, stability, and the chance to keep building a future.
We cannot take away their loss, but together we can help make what comes next a little less overwhelming—and remind them that they do not have to face it alone.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser is another meaningful way to support them.
Thank you for helping these four siblings honor their mom and find a place to begin healing. Your kindness, generosity, and prayers mean so much.
