Over 3 weeks ago Krystal got a horrific headache that would not go away. Now many hospital visits, tests and painful days later she ha been diagnosed with CSF.
Spontaneous cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak happens when a tear or defect forms in the dura mater (the protective membrane around the brain and spinal cord) without a major injury or medical procedure. This leads to a drop in CSF volume and pressure around the brain, a condition known as spontaneous intracranial hypotension.
This causes the most intense migraine like headache pain imaginable. If Krystal is even on her feet for a few minutes the pain is completely overwhelming. Even lying flat it is barely manageable. Krystal is being admitted to another hospital now, after the 1st one she was admitted to was unable to help.
Meanwhile, as we all know, life and bills continue.
