Help Our Family Walking Through the Fire

April 5, 2025, God took my baby brother to heaven at 46 yrs of age with a massive cardiovascular failure event. He left behind our 12 yr old niece. We laid my brother to rest on April 12, 2025 and prepped for my surgery.

May 12, 2025, I went through a major 3-part surgery that included a moderate pelvic floor repair with 8-12 weeks of recovery.

Since July 2025 to present, we have since gone through two legal challenges: 1) Obtaining legal custody of our niece that finally concluded March 2026 with full custody and 2) The estate of my brother that has been legally and financially exhausting for us and still ongoing but, it's coming to a head sooner than later. He had no life insurance, no burial policy, no will and passed intestate which has been so insane to say the least.

On August 10, 2026, we learned our grandbaby is in the care of CPS and we're actively in a 3rd legal matter working diligently through the legal system between the State of Colorado and Texas undergoing an ICPC (interstate compact) to get our 18mos grandbaby placed in our care. We've filed a Motion to Intervene and I've already attended two Pre Trial Conference hearings with the third approaching Nov. 2026 and Trial set for December 2026.

All the while from May-June 2026, Jeremy was in recovery from 2nd degree chemical corrosive burns and turned around on September 28th, he was bitten by a venomous cottonmouth snake. We rushed him to the hospital, where he was admitted to intensive care. Jeremy received 10 units of CroFab antivenom, well above the typical 4-6 units, at a cost of $6,000 to $9,000 per unit. Jeremy is just now able to return to work this week but, he'll will still be receiving outpatient care with follow-up treatment.

As of October 16, 2026, my mom was admitted in the hospital. Honestly, she hasn't been doing well since my brother passed. We moved her back to Texas from Georgia. Jeremy and I have always helped our mother's through whatever they've endured or where help was needed.

Right now, we've been stretched out so thin in every way you can imagine but we know God is GOOD, he's a miracle worker and our faith in him remains strong. We need his help and asking for help through what seems to be one fire after the next. I can't seem to get one fire put out then another starts.

Your prayers and support are helping. We appreciate all those who have given to help us through and it means so much to us during this difficult time. Thank you for standing with our family. Keep the Prayers going up and for us!!!
