Help Our Family Fight a CPS Charge

On October 15, 2026, we voluntarily took our child, who has specific developmental and behavioral needs, to seek extra support through an outpatient facility. Our child already receives psychiatric and medical care, as well as extra support through our state. We were looking to fill in some of the gaps through a facility that provides partial hospitalization or outpatient care.

Because we declined to have our child hospitalized, something we have voluntarily done in the past, the facility filed an AMA against me. The next day, CPS showed up with a charge against me for medical neglect. We are now seeking legal services and need funds to retain their help.
