Help Officer Alex Rebelo Recover

Officer Alex Rebelo, a Police Officer in Woodbridge, NJ, was struck by a motor vehicle while attempting to remove a man in crisis from a busy highway. He was launched over 23 feet, knocked unconscious, and immediately transported to the hospital for trauma injuries.

Alex suffered a concussion, a fractured neck, fractured back, a large cut to the back of his head requiring 9 staples, and many cuts and bruises. He is now forced to wear a neck brace 24 hours a day for at least the next month and faces a daunting schedule of physical therapy and doctors appointments.

Alex has a very long road ahead of him. He won't be able to work any overtime or extra jobs to supplement his income. This fundraiser is being run by the police union Alex belongs to; Woodbridge Policemen's Benevolent Association Local #38. Please help us ease the monetary strain during Alex's recovery.
