Hello everyone my name is Dorothy and I am running this page for my grandson who has just recently come forward to me with his addiction with alcohol that he has had since he was 15 years old.
My grandson has built a beautiful life from the ground up despite this addiction. He has recently received legal and medical news that has caused turmoil within his family.
He is currently facing liver and kidney disease at just 31. He has stated that he no longer wants to rely on himself to quit drinking, only to relapse as he has done in the past. He wants to break the cycle of addiction. Not only for himself, but for his family as well.
We are seeking not only help with legal fees, but with medical costs for long term intensive inpatient treatment and counseling.
As his grandmother, I wish I could help him more than I have. I am on a fixed income, retired and unable to assist him with all that he needs. He does have some funds but needs help reaching his goal.
He is a good man and an amazing husband and an even better father who has accepted that he is an alcoholic and wants to get help before its too late for his health, his sons, and his family. He Is always blessing others and has always been a man who gives and never wants to receive. He has stated his only regret is not asking for help sooner.
I humbly ask for your help with getting him the help he needs, not only for himself but for his health and family as well.
