My friend Jamie is a disabled senior, and she needs help with living/rent costs until she can find another roommate. I'm starting this fundraiser to help with those expenses in the meantime.
Jamie is an old school Santa Cruz native, tells me stories of when there were more horses and no high rises...
Jamie is also a lover of cats, and has over the last decade slowly gained the friendship of Smudgie, a neighborhood feral.
If she is forced to move, one of the worst things is that she would probably lose Smudge. I'm hoping to help keep her in her home, for both their sakes.
