Help Us Carry Michael Singley Through the Fight of His Life
There are some people whose lives are living proof that God can take a broken story and turn it into a beautiful testimony. Michael Singley is one of those people. Michael didn’t come from an easy road. He knows what it means to struggle. He knows what it feels like to be at the bottom, to walk through hard places, and to face circumstances that could have defined the rest of his life.
But God had another plan for Michael.
Michael found Christ—and through Christ, he found hope, purpose, redemption, and a new way of living. And Michael never forgot where he came from. Instead of allowing his past to harden his heart, God used it to give Michael a heart for people who are hurting. He became someone who understands struggle because he has lived it. Someone willing to lend a hand, offer encouragement, help someone in need, and remind others that where you start does not have to determine where your story ends. Michael has spent years being a blessing to other people.
Now Michael needs us.
Today, at an elderly age, Michael is facing one of the greatest battles of his life: pancreatic cancer. He is undergoing chemotherapy, fighting a disease that takes a tremendous toll physically, emotionally, and financially. There are doctor’s appointments. Treatments. Medications. Transportation. Household expenses. Groceries. Bills that don’t stop arriving just because someone is fighting cancer.
There are good days—and there are days when simply getting through the day is a victory. And while Michael is fighting this battle, we don’t want him carrying the additional weight of wondering how he is going to afford to keep fighting.
That’s why we’re asking for your help.
We want to give back to a man who has spent so much of his life giving to others. We want to help ease Michael’s financial burden so that his strength can be spent where it belongs right now—fighting this disease, getting through his treatments, resting, praying, and spending precious time with the people he loves.
Your donations will help Michael with medical and treatment-related expenses, medications, transportation to chemotherapy and appointments, food, household bills, and the unexpected expenses that come with battling cancer.
But this fundraiser is about so much more than money. It’s about carrying someone when the burden has become too heavy to carry alone. We know Michael’s diagnosis. But we also know Michael’s God.
We know what the doctors have said, but we also know the God who has already brought Michael through places he once thought he would never overcome.
The same God who met Michael at the bottom is still with him in this valley.
The same grace that changed his life is still sufficient. The same Savior Michael has trusted is still holding him today.
Michael’s life is a testimony that God can redeem what looks hopeless, restore what looks broken, and bring purpose out of pain. And we believe Michael’s story still has pages left to be written.
“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
