Help Mattni Recover from Femur Break

On Monday September 7th Mattni was involved in a horse riding accident that resulted in a complete fracture of her femoral neck. She underwent emergency surgery to stabilize the fracture and spent time in the hospital to recover after having difficulty with pain management and dropping blood pressure.

Mattni owns Revived Spirits where she provides equine assisted psychotherapy and assists individuals healing from severe trauma. She also teaches riding lessons and is involved with a local non-profit The Violet Cowgirl Foundation. Mattni does 1/3 of her work probono with the goal in mind that mental health should be available to everyone in need.

Currently, Mattni will be non-weight bearing on her leg for the next 6 weeks and is staying with her parents as they assist in the rehabilitation process. With needing constant care with little to no income during this time, bills are adding up fast.
