Hello friends, family, and good samaritans. My name is Rachel, and I am Lara's youngest sister. Although I have almost always towered over her height wise, she has always been the leader of the Rowlette sisters not just in age, but in wisdom, experience, and work ethic. She has always worked to provide for herself, and then my nephew when he was born. She has faced every challenge and hardship life had in store for her with a puffed out chest, our dad's resilience, and our mother's tenacity. Roughly a year ago, she began experiencing painful tics and seizures that seemingly had no definitive cause. The tics present as painful, abnormal facial movements and contortions, and cause slurred speech, stuttering, and a locked jaw. Although the seizure activity has slowed down, they are still present. After numerous tests and scans, she has been diagnosed with FND, and non epileptic seizures. She also has a 13mm Chiari I Malformation. She has been unable to work or drive since these symptoms began, and for someone who has worked since emerging from the womb, asking for help has been a challenge in and of itself. So, with her blessing, I am asking for our community's help on her behalf. I'll close with something that she actually told me recently while checking in on ME 🤣
