🌍💔 Back in September 2025, my wife Kari and I returned to Papua New Guinea with our Masters degrees blazing—dreams of making a difference were alive. We had big plans, but life threw us for a loop right from the start. 😷🌱

From October 2025, we went around in circles, no tests or results. Her health deteriorated rapidly—constant pain making her days a blur of discomfort. The local resources here in PNG are limited, but our love for Kari pushed us through the red tape to get her the care she needed.🏥

Finally in January 2026, after some terrifying tests and a heartbreaking diagnosis emerged: metastatic cancer had spread from an unknown primary source to her lymph nodes. The world seemed to slow down as we processed this news. Our beautiful family of six—four little ones under the age of ten who needed their mum more than ever—our whole universe felt like it was on pause.

Our prayer, our deepest wish, is that Kari will live long enough not only to see her children but also to experience the joy and love of grandchildren someday. We want every moment with her to count, filled with laughter, stories, and adventures.🙏❤️
