My son Josh broke his back last week, a compression fracture of his T10 vertebrate and cannot work for the next 5 weeks and can barely walk.
His wife Kate is pregnant with their 4th child and has taken all her PTO for the next 2 weeks to manage 2 toddler boys while Josh is laid up.
Lachlan, the youngest, had a head injury last year and had corrective neurosurgery last week and is recovering at home.
Josh is a small business owner who primarily does rope access window cleaning on hi rise buildings. His doctor advised no activity for 5 weeks and his range of activity will be constrained, the extent to be determined when he returns for evaluation.
His income primarily covers their expenses and they need help getting through the next 2 months.
