Fundraising Goal: $5,000
Jonathan David Miller is currently being held at the Wake County Detention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, following his arrest on October 26, 2026.
Jonathan faces criminal charges and needs legal representation as his case moves through the courts. An attorney has been retained to represent him, but the $5,000 fee has not yet been paid.
I'm organizing this fundraiser to help cover that expense.
Why we're asking for help
Being accused of a crime can be an overwhelming experience, particularly when someone is incarcerated and unable to manage their affairs or earn a living.
Regardless of the allegations against someone, everyone deserves the opportunity to obtain competent legal representation, understand the charges against them, and prepare a meaningful defense.
Jonathan is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. We are not asking anyone to prejudge his case or take a position on the allegations. We are simply asking for help ensuring that he has access to an attorney who can represent his interests and protect his legal rights.
How the money will be used
Our goal is to raise $5,000, the amount charged by Jonathan's attorney for his representation.
All donations to this fundraiser will be designated for legal-defense expenses and arranged to be paid directly to his attorney, in accordance with GiveSendGo's requirements.
This fundraiser is exclusively for legal representation. It is not intended to pay bail or other personal expenses. We will accept donations up until the goal is met (slightly in excess of $5,000 to account for processing fees). If we inadvertently exceed what is needed, we will refund any excess to the pertinent donor(s).
How you can help
If you are able to contribute, any amount will help us move closer to our goal. Whether you can give $10, $25, $50, or more, your support will be greatly appreciated.
If you cannot contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser with others who may be willing to help would also be valuable.
Thank you for considering helping Jonathan obtain the legal representation he needs during this difficult time.
