update. 9.30.26
From Kaycee, Tristan, Duane & Don.
Hey everyone.
Earlier this week we told you mom was doing better, however she took a turn and got worse. Tristan and I drove to Lexington yesterday to be with dad and mom. It would be a disservice to you all if we were not honest since you all have been so generous and supportive. We have now entered end of life care. We don't know how long mom will stay with us but my next post will be my last update.
Mom loves each and everyone of you so much. I know it will bring her comfort knowing you have been taking care of her babies and husband.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We couldn't do this without you. 💜
Dear friends, family, and community,
We are reaching out to ask for your love, prayers, and financial support for two of the most wonderful people we know, Debbie and Duane Lewis .
for the past two weeks, Debbie has been in the hospital courageously fighting a severe case of pneumonia. It has been an incredible difficult Road, and she still has a journey ahead of her to fully recover and breathe easier.
Anyone who knows Duane knows how deeply he loves Debbie. He hasn’t left her site since she was admitted. While his devotion is a beautiful testament to their marriage, it means that neither Debbie or Duane have been able to work for the last few weeks.
With no income coming in, the everyday bills- mortgage, utilities, groceries, and mounting medical expenses are quickly piling up. The very last thing this couple should have to worry about right now is financial ruin while Debbie is fighting for her health.
Our goal is to raise funds to relieve the immediate financial pressure on Debbie and Duane. Your donations will go directly toward:
Covering their regular monthly bills and household expenses while they are out of work
Assisting with any extra medical cost and treatments, not covered by insurance.
Providing daily necessities like groceries and gas for Duane traveling back-and-forth.
If you are unable to donate financially, please consider sharing this page with your network and keeping Debbie in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, kindness, and support during this incredible trying time.
With gratitude,
Friends of Debbie & Duane
