Help David Recover After His Motorcycle Wreck
On September 13, my brother, David, was seriously injured in a motorcycle wreck. What started as an ordinary day has turned into a long and difficult road to recovery for him and our family.
David has suffered extensive injuries and has already undergone 4 surgeries. He has had several skin grafts placed on his right arm, hand, and leg. Along with with surgery on his head and face.
His injuries include a broken nose, fractured tibia, ribs, right scapula, and left proximal phalanx. On top of everything else, he is currently fighting an infection in his face that has required a drain. He remains in the hospital, and we don't know yet how long he will need to stay or how long his recovery will take.
While David focuses on healing, he is unable to work, but his bills don't stop. He is simply asking for enough help to cover two months of his basic living expenses while he recovers.
His monthly rent is $1,100 and his car payment is $563. Two months of those expenses comes to $4,989.
We are asking for help so David can have a little peace of mind while he goes through surgeries, treatment, and recovery. The money raised will go toward his rent and car payments while he is unable to work.
