I wish I was not writing this because this makes it more real. My best friend, my partner in crime, has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Her spirit is contagious. Over the 9 years we have been friends, there is nowhere I can go in Oregon City without us running into someone she knows. Everyone knows Claire! She is strong and is a fighter, but the reality is that this cancer is not one you win against. You just battle for more time with loved ones beside her every step of the way.
Claire has a beautiful family she is fighting to have every last moment with. Her three children, Aden 12, Connor 6 and Taytum 4, and her loving husband Curtis are determined to be by her side as she fights this battle. With all the treatments to come, Claire will not be able to work. The funds will help cover medical bills and living expenses.
