Due to a lack of proper dental care insurance, a series of untreated dental problems have progressed to the point of being severe. I am facing bone loss, and need several surgeries to repair the damage with dental implants. The total cost of the work is an overwhelming $45,000. For a college student, this is an impossible sum. The physical pain, including an inability to even eat comfortably, is constant and distracting, but the emotional impact is even heavier. It affects my ability to find employment, socialize, and simply live comfortably.

The treatment plan is extensive and medically necessary, but the financial burden is overwhelming. And unfortunately, time is not on my side. The existing trauma and bone loss are advanced enough that even a year from now, the damage may be too severe to wholly repair.
