Multiple Legal Battles To Fight for Medical Justice.

For over 2.5 years, Dr. Valerie has been defending her right to practice medicine in the courts. She's challenging:

• The Medical Board's suspension powers and their legal authority
• Constitutional questions about AHPRA's interstate legislative framework
• Criminal charges alleging that working as a qualified private practitioner is illegal

Her case has already reached the Court of Appeal, with a critical hearing scheduled for March 12, 2026.

Currently Dr Peers has filed a High Court Appeal on the 10/4/26 to ask the court to rule on the important question of law regarding the indefinite suspension of medical practitioners. This affects the profession as a whole and indirectly those who need their help. At present the  Medical Board is not restrained to suspend doctors for years'
