Hello out there. My name is Anine, and I’m starting this give send go page on behalf of my dear friend's 6-year-old-son, Ethan. 

Ethan is a beautiful, sweet little child who went into acute kidney failure while traveling with his family to see a specialist for his ongoing illness. Their insurance wouldn't cover the $113,000 cost of an air ambulance to bring Ethan home and I'm helping them raise money to pay for this enormous expense.

They needed a medical air transfer to get Ethan back home safely but after an exhausting fight, the insurance would not pay. They maxed out all of their credit cards, took out a loan, and borrowed from family and friends to pay for the air ambulance themselves because getting Ethan back home safely was of the utmost importance to them.

Unfortunately, this is not the only burden the family has had to deal with the past few months. After much research, the family discovered the home they've been living in was full of toxic mold. A tiny leak that went unnoticed and leaking since the home was built twenty years ago, caused massive amounts of toxic mold to grow throughout their home. They found mold under the floor of every room and behind the walls. The entire family has become sick from the mold. They have three children, Ethan being the youngest, was affected by it the most. The family left their home immediately and for the past four months, they’ve been moving from one relative’s home to another while their home was stripped to the studs to remediate the toxic mold! Rebuilding will take time and significant resources they were not prepared for. 

In the interim, the family found a specialist to help with mold poisoning and on their way to seek medical advice, their son went into acute kidney failure. They never made it to the specialist and found themselves 3500 miles away from home when Ethan was hospitalized. They were stranded for 3 1/2 weeks in a foreign country while battling with insurance to bring Ethan home. Terrified for his life, they took matters into their own hands and paid for the medical transfer themselves.

They are facing overwhelming medical bills, housing costs and the enormous expense of the air ambulance—on top of trying to rebuild their lives and keep their family safe and healthy. They have no idea how they are going to begin to pay these bills down, it’s an exorbitant amount of money!!! Not to mention God forbid anything else goes wrong in their lives!!!
