Emergency Vet Care Rescue Pup Wolfhounds Legacy WI

On October 17, 2026, Wolfhounds Legacy – Wisconsin Chapter received a new rescue pup from a high-kill shelter. This little one arrived with injuries that required immediate veterinary care, and the bill has already reached $958.

Our mission is simple but powerful: we rescue dogs from high-kill shelters and train them as service animals for veterans and first responders. In the process, we save two lives at once. As we say, No Hero Walks Alone.

Unexpected medical costs like this one put real pressure on a small nonprofit. Your donation will go directly toward covering this emergency vet care so we can focus on healing this pup and giving them the best possible start toward a future of service.

Every contribution—large or small—helps. Thank you for standing with us and for supporting the dogs and the heroes we serve.
