Scroll below to read about the impact Dare To Serve has been making in high schools and students lives:
"Dare To Serve has provided the students of Trimble Tech with a Care Cabinet. Students who have needed "some care" are appreciative and thankful. They have an opportunity to select snacks, school supplies, and toiletries if needed. Teachers are also thankful for the Care Cabinet because they know the snacks help our students concentrate in class. We truly appreciate the gift of love form Dare To Serve."
"Dare to serve has allowed me to connect with people in my community and school by having lunch groups that have conversations about Christ. Dare to serve helped me grow a deeper relationship with God and create fellowships. Dare to Serve also helped me stay focused on God even when I am surrounded by all of the worldly things that happen throughout High school. Without Dare to Serve I would’ve struggled to find peace in the midst of High school, peace being Christ."
"Being able to do group during lunch was a really beneficial thing for me because it allowed me to come together with an adult and other kids like me who just wanted to know a little bit more about God."
"Dare To Serve is such a wonderful org. It allows us believers to have a safe space to talk abut how Gods works bless us in many ways. When I started high school I was lost in a world where I chose everyone but God. Joining Dare To Serve has helped me grow in my faith. Without Dare To Serve I doubt I'd be the person I am today. I am very blessed to have been able to be in this group! I pray that Dare To Serve will continue to bless many more students!"
"People that have invested in me as a student have left a lasting impact on my life. Serving with Dare To Serve gives me an opportunity to do the same for others."
"I have been a part of Dare to Serve as a teacher host at Diamond Hill Jarvis High School for probably 5 plus years now. I have seen the fruits of faithful consistency in the opportunity to encourage our students and staff through some very difficult times.
Dare to Serve has partnered with God to allow students to learn a Biblical and personal identity of Jesus and what it means to be His follower in this world. I have witnessed as several students have stepped into a faith walk with Jesus and the trials and growth which have taken place in their lives.
Dare to Serve has given students and others the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to friends and fellow students in need of the Hope of Christ. I have also seen the expansion of Biblical truth and understanding as Bible stories are taught and the Scripture is read and discussed. Students are both enlightened and encouraged as the Word of God is applied to their lives.
Dare to Serve will continue to share the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout eternity because of people it has been able to reach and serve through out the years. It is the highlight of my week and I look forward to its continued impact on our DHJ campus."
"Dare To Serve is a testament to the power of faith and community. Throughout the year, Dare To Serve has had a positive impact on students and staff, directly and indirectly, through the cultivating of meaningful relationships and consistent presence on campus. I look forward to every meeting and hope the program here at Sunset High School continues to grow."
"I feel that Dare To Serve is an incredibly valuable program that provides guidance, insight and hope to many students that are in need of positive change. Students engage in a variety of topics that help them with their emotional growth and spiritual walk, as well as providing them with solid, Christian advice. Dare To Serve has positively impacted many students over the years and will continue to do so in the years to come."
"As a Trimble Tech High School Alumni, Dare to Serve has been strictly a part of my years throughout school. Transitioning from my freshmen year up till my senior year, I’ve gained character development and a stronger relationship with Christ and my peers within.
Dare To Serve has been the most realistic group I’ve ever participated in because everyone is very authentic with themselves and not afraid to express how they feel and how we can unite ourselves to Christ our Lord. Mr. Geoff is one of the most kindest souls I know and because of him, I gained valuable life lessons and I’ve became a witness for his consistency to pursue his ministry for high schoolers."
