Our family is grieving the sudden and unexpected loss of our mother, Charlyn Mifflin.

As we search for answers, serious concerns have arisen that may point to possible medical malpractice. We are currently proceeding with an independent autopsy, which is both necessary and costly. We are also preparing for legal expenses, including the retainer required to consult and retain an attorney. These steps are essential for understanding what happened and determining how to move forward. We are raising funds specifically to help cover the autopsy and initial legal fees. We also want to be fully transparent and mindful with any funds entrusted to us—some may be used to help cover a memorial service, but we are intentionally avoiding traditional funeral homes or expensive venues and will be honoring her in a modest, family-led way.
