Canadian Forces Wainwright Fire Victims

On October 17, 2026, in Wainwright, Alberta, members of 3PPCLI in the Canadian army were trapped in a freak firestorm that passed through their training area. Unfortunately, 4 soldiers lost their lives serving their country:

1. Sergeant Morgan Wong
2. (Loyal Edmonton Regiment, Edmonton, Alberta)
3. Private Shaun Farrell (3PPCLI, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan)
4. Private Aidan Goulding (3PPCLI, North Vancouver, British Columbia)
5. Private Hayden Lykkemark (3PPCLI, Langley, British Columbia)

We are raising money for rehab expenses for the survivors. This money will help with items and expenses that the army or Veterans Affairs don’t cover. 100% of the money will be going to the victims (unlike most charities).

We can’t begin to communicate the heroism that’s soldiers showed that day. Warrant Officer Tio Tio and Corporal Keane are in critical condition after running into the fire to save other soldiers. Please keep them in your prayers and help cover some expenses that these heroes are incurring right now. They didn’t ask what the cost would be before running in, and we have to do our part to cover their financial expenses. They have paid enough with their bodies.
