Adam and Heather have been a part of our local Southwest Church of the Nazarene in the Indianapolis area since 1996—30 years. Throughout that time, they have faithfully served their church, community, friends, and family. They openly share the good news of Jesus with those they meet, and they have been a blessing to so many people.
On July 26, 2025, their lives changed forever when Heather was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer. She had to leave work to focus on the many medical treatments needed to fight this disease. Adam has continued working as a non-emergency medical transportation driver, but he is currently not getting enough hours to keep up with their growing medical and household expenses.
Sadly, Heather’s prognosis is not what we had hoped for. Her doctors have given her an estimated six months to live. We continue to pray for Heather and Adam and trust God to be with them through this incredibly difficult time. We also want to come alongside them in a practical way and be a blessing to them as they face the days ahead.
