Hi, I'm Hristo — a Bulgarian believer and self-taught developer. Over the past few months, I've built and given away, completely free, a suite of tools to make God's Word more accessible to Bulgarian-speaking Christians:
- Библейски Плейър (Bible Player) — a free audio Bible app for Android, Android TV, and Google TV, letting people listen to Scripture read aloud, with synchronized text, sleep timers, and background music for prayer and meditation.
- A webOS TV version for LG smart TVs.
- Радио Просветен — a 24/7 internet radio station streaming the audio Bible non-stop.
- A growing library of Bible chapter videos on YouTube, with synchronized on-screen text.
All of this exists because I believe Scripture should be free and easy to reach — no ads, no paywalls, no login required.
The need: Right now, everything I've built runs on Android and the web — but I have no way to bring any of it to iPhone or iPad. Apple requires a Mac and a real iPhone to build, test, and publish apps for iOS — something I simply don't own.
I'm asking for help to purchase:
- A MacBook capable of running Xcode and building iOS apps for years to come
- An iPhone to properly test the app before it reaches real users
With these tools, I can bring the Bible Player — and everything I build after it — to the millions of iPhone users in the Bulgarian-speaking world and beyond, completely free, just as it's always been.
You can try the app for free right now: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bg.hristohristov.bibleplayer
Thank you for considering supporting this work. Every gift, big or small, brings God's Word to one more screen, one more person, one more moment of quiet with Him.
"Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." — Romans 10:17
Blessings,
Hristo Hristov
