Hi friends, family, and fellow patriots,
My name is Beth, a proud American from Texas, and a chatter on Rumble. You might know me as @BethM80, while I've spent a year sharing my love for this country, standing up for freedoms, and connecting with like-minded souls who believe in God, family, and the red, white, and blue. Today, I'm asking for help to keep my home safe and help with accumulating medical bills.
For nearly 15 years, I worked as a civil servant until my declining health forced me into retirement 2 years ago, the day after turning 62. While working, I maintained perfect credit and took care of my home, but now I can't. I am battling end-stage COPD and emphysema (GOLD Stage 4), lifelong fibromyalgia, multiple spine surgeries (5 between 2018 & 2023) leading to Failed Back Surgery Syndrome, and 5 years & 3 surgeries (within a year) for a non-union dominant arm spiral fracture from 2021, and cancer—BRCA2 positive, with lung adenocarcinoma treated by radiation in 2025, and 3 tumors removed from my parotid glands and 1 on right thyroid (which was malignant & caused right vocal cord paralysis) in 2024. I've endured spinal fusions & discectomies, kyphoplasties (for fractured vertebrae twice), 1 biopsy via CT Guided Fine Needle Aspiration, and 2 bronchoscopies.
My limited income and now no credit, leave me unable to fix major issues in my home, or pay for incurring medical bills. Prior to the Winter Storm, and on New Year's Eve, the wellhouse compressor died and the replacement cost $1,250 -- I used what was intended to be for the mortgage payment and when a friend heard of my predicament, they sent me the monies needed for my full mortgage payment. Last week, after running water 24/7 to prevent freezing, the water heater exploded, ruptured in the back and flooded the floor. My home was built in 1982 and when I purchased it 12 years ago this month, I renovated it for retirement and disabilities, but now, its wearing out: pier-and-beam foundation is shifting & has caused cracked granite counters, fallen sinks (kitchen and 1 in bathroom vanity), and gaps in grout/wood flooring. I now feel a slope like the corner is sinking.
If this wasn't bad enough, my health and the home, both breaking apart simultaneously, in 2020 my oldest daughter who was widowed in 2012 with 4 children, lost her job, then vehicle followed by her home, thanks to COVID. In September 2020 they moved in with me, which was a strain at first, but now I am blessed to have their assistance as I can no longer take care of daily feats, and they help me. ❤️ With my social security "pension/retirement" I have enough to pay my mortgage, electric bill, cell phone (mine only), and my vehicle payment. I then have enough to only pay one of my 4 doctor's their co-pay and get my 6 prescriptions filled for the month. My daughter buys my food, the car insurance, gasoline to and from appointments as well as tollroads if needed, trash removal, her own bills and anything else that comes as a surprise during the month. Flat tire repair, new brakes/rotors, another specialist for me, ER visit for one of the kids and so on. Last Friday she was given notice that would be their last day of employment as the Owner was closing the doors for good!! That wasn't much notice! So now she is fervently looking for a new job, or we won't have the money for the car insurance, trash removal, surprise doctor bills for me, or her and the kids and so on. I'm not going to ask if it can get any worse because that answer is ALWAYS YES!!! 100%!! So I attempt to stay content in all things, but I know when we need help, and its now.
As for family that could help? I am divorced, my younger daughter passed away in June 2021 just 2 days before my 2nd ORIF surgery on my arm. Within 2 months of her, my next to the oldest brother passed away while intubated in ICU at a hospital in FL. My oldest brother then passed away in February 2022. I had lost my dad in 1993, momma in 2007 and our youngest brother in 2017. There is just me and my daughter left, then my sister who is 2 years older than me is in FL with her immediate family grown up and on their own now.
While I trust in God, the repairs needed exceed my capability, and the answer hasn't appeared yet. Maybe the answer is YOU! Hiring help is out of reach. That's why I'm turning to you on GiveSendGo.
Your donation means peace of mind to rest. Every gift reminds me we're in this together as Americans, and as humans. If called to help, please contribute or share my page. God bless you, and God bless the USA! 🇺🇸❤️
With gratitude,
Beth
