My name is Michelle and I started this campaign with permission, for my beautiful friend April and her 3 boys. April has been going through a lot the last few months and recently separated and divorced. April just found an apartment and started a new job last week. Things started to get better for April and her boys but on Friday she found out that she has 30 days to get out of her apartment because now that she’s working she no longer qualifies for low income housing. Because she no longer qualifies, she now has to come up with the deposit and first months rent. With starting work last week this is almost impossible without help. Over the last few weeks I’ve watched April sell personal belongings online just to get by. Just recently she mentioned to me that she would sleep in her storage unit if she had to. I will not let that happen. April is doing everything she can to get her life back to some normalcy and get her boys into a home. I would love to be able to raise this money for her. She’s been struggling for a while. She has 3 growing boys and the cost of living is higher than ever.
