My wife, Nicole, recently suffered a serious infection that was traced back to her teeth. On August 19, 2026, her dentist told us her condition had become an emergency and that her teeth needed to be removed.

Nicole has now had all of her teeth removed, and the implant sockets have been placed for her final dentures. The emergency procedure is behind her, but her treatment is only partially complete. She is still waiting for her final teeth to be prepared and installed before she can return to eating solid food normally.

The total cost of Nicole’s treatment is $23,970.80.

We tried to finance the treatment but were unsuccessful. My mother, who lives on Social Security, stepped in and loaned us approximately half of the total cost—nearly everything she had available. Her sacrifice allowed us to move forward immediately with the emergency procedure, have Nicole’s teeth removed, and get the implant sockets placed.

That money got us this far, but it could only cover about half of the treatment.

We still need to pay the remaining balance to complete Nicole’s treatment. We also want to repay my mother so that helping us through this emergency doesn’t leave her without the savings she depends on.

Nicole’s dental problems go all the way back to childhood. As a small child, she suffered severe burns after pulling a boiling-hot pan from a stove. During her treatment, she received tetracycline, including medication applied to her wounds and medication she ingested. Her family was later told that the tetracycline exposure affected the development and condition of her teeth. She has struggled with serious dental problems ever since.

After a lifetime of dental problems, this infection finally left Nicole with no choice but to have her teeth removed.

We’re not asking for help to start her treatment. We’re asking for help to finish what an emergency forced us to begin.
