The Philippines is hungry for God's Word! We have distributed 4,769 Bibles in the Philippines in the past 2 Years. We have requests for about 14,000 more! These Bibles are going to all different languages (9 so far!), different denominations, in partnership with hundreds of churches on various islands of the Philippines... Within 48 hours of a new shipment, however big, all Bibles are distributed to new believers as well as believers who have only heard rumor of a Bible in their language.
First, we gave out 25 Bibles to new Believers at our church plant and an outreach in a Muslim neighborhood. Then, we gave out another 154 Bibles to churches and outreaches in and around our city! Now, we've given out over 4,500 Bibles! The most amazing thing is we have urgent requests to meet the immediate needs of another 250 churches totaling up to 14,000 Bibles! We recently had a mother reach out to let us know her kid came home crying because she didn't get a Bible before we ran out and to please get her one. We heard a testimony of a woman in one of the remoter villages reading by candlelight or by streetlights at night because they don't have electricity at home. One girl told us she needed a new Bible because her grandfather had claimed hers so he could read it! We have hundreds of pastors asking for a study Bible because they cannot afford to go to Bible school. These Bibles are being devoured, memorized, quoted, sung, shared. Please help us to get more Bibles for the Filipino people!
