For 17 years, Revolution Martial Arts has been more than a place to learn kicks, punches, forms, and self-defense. It has been a place where kids grow in confidence, families become friends, students become leaders, and people find a place where they belong.
Now, Revolution is getting ready for its next chapter.
We are moving!
As we’ve begun preparing for our move, something pretty amazing happened: our Revolution families started asking how they could help. Ideas started coming in for garage sales, bake sales, restaurant nights, and other ways our families could come together to support the transition.
That got us thinking.
If our community wants to invest in Revolution, we want to invest right back into our community.
RAISE $10K. GIVE $10K+.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help with the expenses of moving Revolution into our new home, including moving costs, facility preparation and improvements, signage, equipment, furnishings, and the many other expenses that come with opening a new location. But reaching $10,000 will do something else, too.
When we reach our $10,000 goal, Revolution Martial Arts will sponsor FIVE children for an entire year of martial arts training.
Each scholarship will include:
- Basic Program enrollment
- 12 months of martial arts instruction
- A martial arts uniform
- Three belt testing opportunities
Based on our regular program pricing, each scholarship is valued at $2,037.
That means when our community helps Revolution raise $10,000, Revolution will give back $10,185 in martial arts scholarships to five kids in our community.
And if we exceed our goal?
We’ll give even more back.
As fundraising grows, we will look for opportunities to provide additional scholarships based on available class capacity.
Why martial arts scholarships?
We’ve spent 17 years seeing what can happen when a child finds the right place on the mat.
Martial arts can build confidence. It can provide structure and accountability. It gives kids goals to work toward, positive mentors to learn from, friendships, leadership opportunities, physical activity, and the experience of accomplishing things they didn’t know they could do.
We also know that not every family has the financial ability to give their child that opportunity.
We have room on our mat.
We have instructors ready to teach.
And with the help of our community, we have an opportunity to open that mat to more kids.
How you can help
There are several ways to be part of this campaign.
GIVE: Every donation, regardless of size, moves us closer to our goal.
PARTICIPATE: Our Revolution families will be organizing additional fundraising activities as we prepare for the move.
SHARE: You may not be able to give financially, and that’s okay. Sharing our campaign with friends, family, businesses, and others in the community can make an enormous difference.
Revolution is moving regardless of how much this campaign raises. We’re excited about what’s ahead and committed to building the next home for our students.
This campaign gives our families, friends, alumni, and community an opportunity to be part of building that next chapter with us.
And we’re committed to paying that support forward.
You help us build Revolution’s new home.
We’ll help more kids find their place on the mat.
